400,000 people descended on New York City just days before the UN’s climate summit where environmental action was set for debate, making the New York People’s Climate March the biggest climate march in history.
At 12:58pm, in honor of those who have already been effected by climate change like Bangladesh, Sudan, Siberia, Australia, Myanmar (the list continues), the crowd fell silent.
The silence was broken by a chilling cloud of screams at 1pm as the voice of the people sounded the alarm of climate change.
The march continues.
